“Chasing Dreams” in Philly

The Daily Journal has a great new writeup about the ongoing baseball exhibit at the National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia, “Chasing Dreams: Baseball & Becoming American.”

Steve Wood writes about Hank Greenberg’s friendly exchange with rookie Jackie Robinson on the basepaths in 1947. I used this moment at the end of my 1999 film, The Life and Times of Hank Greenberg, because it really shows what Hank was all about.

I wrote about my visit to the “Chasing Dreams” exhibit on this blog back in March. It’ll be on display at the NMAJH until October 26th.
